How to Convert Audio Formats FREE

•July 4, 2008 • Leave a Comment

Yesterday, I tried to convert wave (.wav) musics to mp3 format with converter, but the output is very bad, the song sounds like it is in a fast motion, it’s in a faster bitrate than the original. I’ve tried to change everything on the converter, but nothing’s worked out. Finally I found how to convert these formats to whatever you like. All you need is a CD-RW and Windows media Player. Want to convert formats like WMA, WAV, MP3 into any formats available? here’s how:

1. Insert the CD-RW

2. Go to WMP

3. Make an audio CD (the input is the songs you want to be converted)

4. After burning is done, rip the audio CD using WMP into any format you want

5. You can also edit any infos on those songs.

6. If you want to convert songs again, just erase the disk and reuse it.

7. Have fun

Avoid Trojan Vundo From Torrents

•June 6, 2008 • 3 Comments

3 Days ago, my Acer Aspire infected with the newest variant of Trojan Vundo and ends with reformatting it. The Trojan came within the Guitar Pro Installer which I got from a torrent site. I learned that the file (*.exe) is not a normal executable file, it’s a win32 self exctract file. Here’s how to alter the file and purify the installer from the trojan.

1. After downloading files from torrent, extract the file (if it’s zip or rar) to directory

2. Right click on the extracted file (the *.exe file) and select “open with winRAR”

3. In winRAR window, you’ll see files, the setup file usually named with simple phrase as “setup.exe” but the virusĀ  or trojan have complicated name ( 1ialgh6.exe, dddcrTh.exe, etc.)

4. Right click on the setup file and select extract

5. Well done! you have purified your file from Trojan and virus

The Electricity and Installation of Electric Bass

•May 13, 2008 • Leave a Comment

I have an electric bass guitar. It was a prize from my cousin, it’s a used prince bass guitar. When I take it home, I plug it and try to play, but there is no sound. After that, I tried to figure out what’s wrong with this bass. Then, I found out that the bass has no wiring at all. So, I have to install the instrument manually.

Tools Required:

  1. Solder
  2. Soldering Iron
  3. Cable (You can use normal cable, but the one that has a ground cable is the best)

After that, follow the scheme taken from the pdf file below.

How To Read Guitar Tablature

•May 13, 2008 • Leave a Comment

tab

Above is a picture of guitar tablature (taken from http://guitar.about.com/library/blhowtoreadtab.htm).

A tab for guitar has 6 horizontal lines, each of them representing a string of the guitar. The bottom line of the staff represents your lowest “E” string, the second line from the bottom represents your “A” string, etc.

There are numbers on the lines. The numbers representing what fret number to play. For example, in the picture above, the tab is telling you to play the third string seventh fret.

When the number appear zero, it means you have to play open string (no string pressed)
